Bruno Tassi Group, the biggest distributor of meat, cured meat and poultry, decided to implement SAP Business One ERP class system in its branches. Apart from carrying out standard activity such as: sale, bookkeeping and warehouse management the project will include introducing innovative logistic technologies on the basis of weighing terminals, electronic document interchange (EDI) and car fleet management. The implementation partner is SUPREMIS Sp. z o.o. – the first in Poland SAP Gold Partner.

Experience resulting in innovation in the meat sector

Bruno Tassi Group is currently the biggest nationwide distributor of meat, cured meat and poultry, which every day, by means of 25 wholesale centers, supplies both single customers as well as large trade centers not forgetting about individual consumers. The latter can make a purchase in retail outlets. Bruno Tassi Group consists of 6 subsidiaries, which carry out a uniform policy in all branches. The Group is considered to be one of the oldest companies in this sector but it does not mean that the company cannot move with the times. Quite the contrary. Facing business partners’ and customers’ needs, the Group decided to employ the modern, integrated SAP Business One system.

Unification by implementing one ERP system

“Until now our branches have been supported by non-integrated software: Symfonia, Raks, CDN OPT!MA. Wanting to continue our rapid development and improve standards of cooperation we have decided to unify and implement one integrated system dedicated to small and medium enterprises,” explains Filip Dworakowski, President.
SAP Business One will support the branches in maintaining bookkeeping, retail sale, distribution, supply, warehouse management and reporting. This ERP system will moreover facilitate cooperation with trade networks, logistics and customer relationship management (CRM).

As a meat, cured meat and poultry distributor with many years of experience, Bruno Tassi Group established cooperation with trade networks in Poland. In order to improve cooperation, the standard of electronic document interchange (EDI) with trade networks will be implemented.
However, the most interesting feature, which can bring tremendous benefits to the meat sector, is introducing innovative logistic technologies based on weighing terminals and barcodes.

Managing the fleet of 300 cars

All Bruno Tassi Group customers can count on free delivery of the ordered products. Specialized fleet consists of 350 cars equipped with refrigerating units. SUPREMIS company - SAP Gold Partner – proposed an in-house developed IT solution called SUPREMIS Flota. The application does not only remind about forthcoming maintenance mileage registration etc. It also supports settling of car-related transactions e.g. it automatically imports invoices from Lotos and BP billing systems and then sends the data to SAP Business One system. SUPREMIS company, responsible for the implementation, is planning to deploy SAP Business One in another branches within 6 months.
